the seven wonders of the ancient world–the light house of alexandria
The Lighthouse of Alexandria, sometimes called the Pharos of Alexandria, was a lofty tower built by the ptolemaic kingdom between 280 and 247 BC and between 393 and 450 ft (120 and 137 m) tall. It was one of the tallest man-made structures on Earth for many centuries, and was regarded as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Badly damaged by three earthquakes between 956 and 1323, it then became an abandoned ruin. It was the third longest surviving ancient wonder (after the mausoleum at halicarnassus and the still extant great pyramid of giza) until in 1480 the last of its remnant stones were used to build the citadel of qaitbay on the site. In 1994, French archaeologists discovered some remains of the lighthouse on the floor of Alexandria’s Eastern Harbour.
the seven wonders of the ancien world–the hanging gardens of babylon
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon were one of the seven wonders of the ancien world, and the only one whose location has not been definitely established. Traditionally they were said to have been built in the ancient city of babylon, near present-day hillah, babil province, in iraq. The Babylonian priest berossus, writing in about 290 BC and quoted later by josephus, attributed the gardens to the neo-babylonian king nebuchadnezzar II, who ruled between 605 and 562 BC. There are no extant Babylonian texts which mention the gardens, and no definitive archaeological evidence has been found in Babylon.

The seven wonders of the ancient world– The temple of Artemis at Ephesus
All of these pictures are and only people thoughts of this great house of worship. There are some maybe ruins of the temple but I think otherwides. I bet they are just rich people homes, there are preserved column of the original temple at the British museum. They have a newer vershen for people go to see what it could be….but of course this is a smaller one. These are ruins of the temple at the place in the hills, in the countryside. I think the temple would have been bigger than these picture say. Most of the temple is gone.
The pyramid of Khufu at Giza- Research of the seven wonders
As you can see these pictures, tell an ancient history/story about each one. They tell you there imaginion, there alabillity to show there work for future centres to come. They give out there power to domate there skills on there perefection of there wonder they have built. When these mighty so called God House’s were built at the very same time, in England down south, the Stonehenge was getting made in to place. Yet so different…. These mighty buildings show there sides in different ways, people look so small to these mighty buildings. Most or some were covered in gold silver and marble. But this day there is no sight of there’s tells vfrom the past as they were told. I love the way they made these mighty pyramids (( the three pyramids off Giza are a perfect reproduction of the 3 stars of Orion’s belt)) OK…the smallest is a bit off to the east. How the hell did they do this?!? I think they made these pyramids for something…..but for what, for who….many may say it was for there kings and queens…but something tells me otherwides… It makes me sad when egypt wonders are gone ( not all),, to me I think they should get all of there prices goods back…no nation should have them but Egypt.
